This Easter, shopping local could score you the ultimate retail rush.

Shop at participating Swan Hill businesses during the promotional period and enter for your chance to win an Hour of Power Shopping Spree, with up to $1,000 to spend in just one hour across local businesses.

One lucky shopper will be drawn to take on the challenge - racing the clock, supporting local traders, and experiencing Swan Hill’s vibrant local shopping scene like never before. To help add to the excitement we will have MixxFM/3SH following the rush and adding to the pressure.

How to enter:

Each eligible receipt counts as one entry, so the more you shop local, the more chances you have to win.

The winner will be drawn on Thursday 16 April and must be available to complete their Hour of Power shopping spree on Friday 17 April.

Terms and Conditions

Easter Shop Local – Hour of Power Shopping Spree Promotion

1. Promoter

The promoter of this promotion is Swan Hill Incorporated.

2. Promotion Period

The promotion commences at 9:00am on Thursday 3 April 2026 and closes at 4:00pm on Thursday 16 April 2026.

3. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to all individuals aged 13 years and over.

  • Employees are not eligible to enter receipts from their place of employment.

  • All entrants must be able to participate in the prize experience on the specified date.

  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

4. How to Enter

To enter the promotion, participants must:

  1. Make a purchase at any participating Swan Hill business during the promotion period.

  2. Complete the official entry form via the supplied QR code or online link.

  3. Upload a clear copy of a valid receipt as proof of purchase.

5. Entry Conditions

  • Each valid receipt constitutes one (1) entry.

  • Receipts must clearly show the business name, transaction date, and purchase amount.

  • Illegible, incomplete, altered or fraudulent entries will be deemed invalid.

  • Multiple entries are permitted, provided each entry is supported by a separate receipt.

6. Prize Details

  • One (1) winner will receive an Hour of Power Shopping Spree valued at up to $1,000.

  • The shopping spree will take place on Friday 17 April 2026.

  • The winner will be drawn on Thursday 16 April 2026.

7. Hour of Power Conditions

  • The winner will have one (1) hour (60 minutes) to complete the shopping spree.

  • Spending is capped at $200 per business.

  • Participating businesses will be selected at random by the promoter.

  • Purchases must be made in-store during the allocated hour.

  • Gift cards may not be purchased as part of the shopping spree.

  • Any unspent portion of the $1,000 prize value is forfeited.

8. Availability Requirement

  • The winner must be available to participate on Friday 17 April 2026.

  • If the winner is unavailable or unable to participate on the scheduled date, the promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.

9. Prize Restrictions

  • The prize is not transferable, refundable or redeemable for cash.

  • No substitutions will be offered.

  • The promoter reserves the right to substitute participating businesses if required.

10. Winner Notification

  • The winner will be selected at random and contacted via the details provided on the entry form.

  • Reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winner.

  • If the winner cannot be contacted or does not meet the eligibility requirements, the promoter may redraw the prize.

11. Privacy

  • Personal information collected will be used solely for the purposes of administering this promotion.

  • Information will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.

12. General

  • Swan Hill Incorporated reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or submits an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

  • The promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the promotion if circumstances beyond its control arise.

  • Participation in the promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
