Swan Hill has been named a finalist in the Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards, and now we need the community’s support to help spread the word.

The Swan Hill Top Tourism Town Content Creator Competition encourages locals, businesses and content creators to get creative, share what makes Swan Hill special and help drive votes for our region.

Entrants are invited to create original social media content promoting Swan Hill as a visitor destination, include the official voting link, and encourage their audience to vote. The strongest entries will be judged on creativity, content quality, engagement and overall impact.

SWAN HILL TOP TOURISM TOWN CONTENT CREATOR COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Promoter
    The promoter is Swan Hill Incorporated.

  2. Competition Period
    The competition commences on Wednesday 3rd June 2026 and closes Friday 26 June at 11:59pm.

  3. Eligibility
    Entry is open to Australian residents aged 16 years and over.

  4. How to Enter
    To enter, participants must:

a) Create an original social media post, reel or video promoting Swan Hill as a tourism destination encouraging their followers to vote Swan Hill.

b) Include the official voting link in the content or accompanying caption.

c) Encourage viewers to vote for Swan Hill in the Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards.

d) Submit the required social media insights report (PDF or screenshot) before the competition closing date.

  1. Entry Requirements
    Entries must:

  • Be original content created by the entrant.

  • Positively promote Swan Hill and the surrounding region.

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the social media platform used.

  • Not contain offensive, misleading or inappropriate content.

Swan Hill Incorporated reserves the right to remove or disqualify any entry that does not meet these requirements.

  1. Judging
    This is a game of skill.

Entries will be judged based on:

  • Quality of content

  • Creativity

  • Engagement achieved

  • Effectiveness in encouraging votes for Swan Hill

Chance plays no part in determining the winners.

  1. Prize
    Four (4) winners who have the top rating insights report will each receive a $250 gift card.

Total prize pool value: $1,000.

Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

  1. Winner Notification
    Winners will be contacted via phone, email or social media by Tuesday 30th June.

If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, Swan Hill Incorporated reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

  1. Use of Content
    By entering, participants grant Swan Hill Incorporated a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to share, repost, publish and promote submitted content for marketing and promotional purposes, with appropriate credit where practical.

  2. Privacy
    Personal information collected will be used solely for the administration of this competition and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

  3. General
    Swan Hill Incorporated reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant who breaches these terms and conditions.
